🚒🔥 Dive Alert – New Wreck Added! 🔥🚒
Our Sept 10 evening charter will now be heading to the newly discovered Fireboat 17! 🌊⚓️
Built in 1893, she was the second fireboat owned by the City of Milwaukee and served until 1930, when she was dismantled and scuttled offshore. The wreck was relocated during NOAA bathymetric surveys in 2024 and confirmed by maritime archaeologists soon after.
Now divers have the chance to explore this historically significant find — with her steam engine and machinery still in place, there’s a lot to see on this wreck!
