PM Individual – E.M.B.A. & St. Albans
June 21 @ 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm CDT
Trip Details
- Price: $199 / person
- Departure: McKinley marina boat ramps
- Meeting time: 30 minutes before departure time
- Minimum certification: Technical diver (normoxic trimix with appropriate decompression training). Divers must be qualified for the deepest planned dive.
E.M.B.A. (1903)
The St. Albans rests upright in about 165 feet of water off Milwaukee, offering a stunning deep wooden wreck with exceptional visibility. Its intact bow and stern, exposed boilers, and scattered midship debris create a dramatic layout to explore, with features such as the rudder, propeller, and fallen smokestack still visible. For properly trained divers, limited penetration is possible, though the wreck’s true impact comes from its scale, preservation, and striking exterior.
- Dive Type: Technical (decompression)
- Typical Depth: 156 to 170ft (47.5 to 51.8m)
- Required Certification: Technical certification with appropriate training for decompression dives
Excellent for entry level technical divers. Often paired with Grace Channon, St. Albans or nearby recreational wrecks Milwaukee Car Ferry, Prins Willem V, or Gillen Tug.
