- Meeting time: 30 minutes before departure time to load gear
- Minimum certification: Advanced Open Water (or equivalent). Technical (decompression) if conducting one long decompression dive instead of two dives. Divers must be qualified for the deepest planned dive.
Fireboat #17 (1893)
Fireboat No. 17 rests in about 135 feet of water as a low-profile wreck with its superstructure removed, leaving the machinery and deck exposed. A prominent steam engine stands at the center, while the surrounding hull and scattered timbers create a subtle but rewarding dive that reveals itself through careful exploration.
- Dive Type: Advanced Recreational (no decompression)
- Typical Depth: 120ft to 135ft (36.6 to 41.2m)
- Required Certification: Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
Excellent for advanced open water divers on a recently discovered shipwreck (2024). Often paired with Prins Willem V, Gillen Tug, or other nearby shipwrecks.
Prins Willem V (1948)
One of Milwaukee’s most popular wreck dives, the Prins Willem V is a largely intact freighter resting on its side in 55 to 90 feet of water. Shallow, accessible, and full of character from bow to stern, it offers an engaging and highly photogenic dive for all experience levels.

- Typical Depth: 55 to 90ft (16.7 to 27.4m)
- Required Certification: Open Water (or equivalent)
Excellent for beginner divers. Often dived as a two-tank trip or paired with Gillen Tug, Dredge #6, Norlond, Milwaukee Car Ferry, or other nearby shipwrecks.
