Sinking Detail
She pounded on the bottom while loading at Amsterdam, WI. When she tried to make it to Milwaukee she began to leak profusely and so was put into Port Washington. Later the prop CUYAHOGA attempted to tow her into Milwaukee, but she capsized and foundered enroute. Crew rescued by the CUYAHOGA.
